Three things I absolutely loved about Anna’s newborn session in Arlington, Virginia: First, the view from her bedroom window. Can you imagine being able to catch a glimpse of the Jefferson Memorial each and every single day? When you are a fan of Washington D.C. you know what I mean. Second, her furry brother, Blue. As a dog lover, I enjoyed including Blue in Anna’s newborn session as much as I could. Dogs are family! Third, the rocking chair I discovered in Anna’s nursery. This is not just an ordinary rocking chair. It has been in their family for many years and decorated her dad’s nursery as well. Who would have thought that in a blink of an eye his baby girl would be resting on it? I love including personal and meaningful items in my sessions.
Baby Anna was named after both of her great-grandmothers. How sweet and considerate is that? Eric and Laura, thank you for letting me capture these memories for you. I look forward to seeing you all again for Anna’s milestone session next year.
