Thinking back to the beautiful maternity session with Svenja, I could hardly wait to meet the little princess. She was born just a few days later, two weeks earlier than expected. With the summer being so hot, I met the family of three for an outdoor newborn photography session at Rust Manor in Leesburg. Hot is perfect for the tiny little models. I have been doing numerous sessions at Rust Manor for many reasons. There is a nice garden area, the charming old manor house, the nice wooden storage building and the wide open field that make for a gorgeous background for photographers. The best part, there is no site fee which is charged at some locations in the area. I would highly recommend a week day if you are looking for privacy. Weekends tend to be occupied with weddings.
I love outdoor photography. It offers the most perfect lighting in addition to a natural setting. Mom and Dad get to relax and breath in some fresh summer air as well. Baby J. was a dream. She slept through most of the session with the exception of a small milk break. I think the little lady just needed mom for soothing❤️
Dear Svenja, thank you for letting me capture this very special time for you. You have a beautiful family. I am already looking forward to seeing the little princess again for her milestone session. Until then, all the best for all three of you.
