I am so excited to share this beautiful Brambleton Virginia newborn photography session with you. Leah inquired about the session when Cameron was already eight days old. Just a short three days later I drove to her home to meet baby Cameron and the rest of the family. Luckily, it only took me five minutes to get there. When I arrived, Leah was nursing her baby boy. I spent some time getting to know his big sister, Madeleine. What a doll she is! Knowing how challenging it can be to capture toddlers, I was a bit nervous photographing the siblings. Let me tell you, Madeleine absolutely rocked it. The princess enjoyed hanging out with me, which, by the way, goes both ways. She made my day for sure.
When Cameron finished feeding, I started the session capturing the kids on the flokati rug. Madeleine was very gentle with her baby brother. I was amazed at how well she did hugging and kissing him. With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I continued to focus on the mommy and baby portraits and I absolutely love how these turned out. I can feel the love just looking through their gallery. After the family portraits, Madeleine and her daddy took off to the playground. I made use of the beanbag I brought and captured a few more baby portraits while Cameron was sound asleep.
“Thanks again for our newborn session today! The pics we saw looked awesome and it was very low stress (exactly what we need with a newborn!). Looking forward to working with you again!” I loved getting this message from Leah when I returned back home. I already look forward to seeing the family of four again in the future.
