It’s the month of April and you know what they say about April. The day of Nathan’s 9 month milestone session, I kept a close eye on the weather forecast. It said partly cloudy. Most of the time the weather forecast is pretty much on point, so I wasn’t too worried. When I arrived in Leesburg, Virginia I noticed giant rain clouds creeping up in the sky. As usual, I was early. I decided to just hang out in the car when suddenly it came pourring down. Holy cow! I already saw myself having to cancel the session, but when Yvonne and her little chunky monkey arrived, the sun came out as if nothing had ever happened. Gotta love April😅
Nathan had just fallen asleep in the car, so warming up to me took a bit longer. Not sure he really liked the unique vintage wagon that I brought as a fun prop for his baby portraits. He was the happiest in his mother’s arms for sure. I don’t blame him, ha!
While the month of April tends to be unpredictable for outdoor photography sessions, I do love all the bright colors it has to offer. I also love the late afternoon hours as it provides amazing lighting as well. Are you ready to book your springtime session? Let’s chat!
