Musically inspired Loudoun County Virginia Baby Photography / Baby John

If there is anything I do miss about Germany (besides German bread), it’s most definitely the stunning architecture in some of the major cities such as Bremen. When I travelled to Germany a couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to capture baby John’s milestone portraits at the “Schnoor Viertel” right in the heart of Bremen, Germany. I got up early that morning to beat the crowds. This was the first time I walked around the Schnoor as early as 8 a.m. and wow, there is so much to take in when the rest of the city is still asleep. I love the pretty little half-timbered houses that are dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries as well as the narrow, beautiful lanes between the buildings. You know what they say about the early bird😅

I’ve known Cara for a few years. As an American expat living in Bremen, she is pursuing a career in music. Cara is not only a very talented violinist and/or pianist, but she’s also a heck of a singer. I had so much fun incorporating the violin in John’s milstone session. If he takes after his mother, he will most definitely be a very talented musician.

Dear Cara, thank you so much for letting me capture these beautiful images for you. John is the cutest!

  1. What a beautifully captured session of mother and child. The musical ones are especially spectacular! One can see the personality of the child shine through. Well done!

  2. Stephanie, these photos are gorgeous – the setting, the shots, everything! I’m in love 🙂 *again* – you’re so talented. Thank you very much for giving me and John such great memories that we will still be looking back on years from now. <3 To capture these moments in time… priceless.

  3. Wow!!!! These pictures are spectacular!! I love all the moments you captured and the attention to detail! The spot you chose to shoot these photographs at is just beautiful! I love the one with the older gentleman walking with his cane in the background. They are all wonderful!
