As your full-service newborn and family photographer in Northern Virginia and the DC Metro area, I'm dedicated to providing an effortless and memorable photography experience, complete with hand-crafted portrait heirlooms for you to enjoy in your home. Digital only packages are offered through the Simplicity Session Experience.

The First Year Collective
SHP's First Year Collective is the most popular option for parents who want to preserve every milestone of their baby's first year. Choose between 3 or 4 Signature Sessions, all scheduled within a 12-month period.
Your First Year Collective membership includes priority booking, savings on session fees, complimentary professional hair and makeup when desired, a $200 album incentive at each ordering appointment, and a complimentary smash cake to celebrate baby's first birthday.

Signature Session
The Signature Session is our most elevated, full-service experience, designed for families who want every detail thoughtfully handled. Available in the studio, at home, or outdoors, your session fee includes personalized planning, access to the SHP client wardrobe, a relaxed full-length session, complimentary professional hair and makeup when desired, and custom artwork design so your memories can live beautifully in your home.
* Artwork and digital images are purchased separately from the session fee. Most SHP clients invest $1,800+ in their final collection of artwork and digital images.

Simplicity Session
The Simplicity Session is designed for families who prefer an all-inclusive digital photography experience. It includes personalized planning, access to the client wardrobe, a relaxed and guided full-length session, professional hand editing, and all of your final digital images delivered in an online gallery.
$1200 All-inclusive
* $300 retainer is due at the time of booking

The PORTRAIT Process
Pre-Consultation
Getting to know each other is a huge part of what makes a great session. It puts everyone at ease and sets us up for success! We will go over your goals for your session, wardrobe and location ideas to help design the perfect session for you. It’s also the perfect time to answer questions about session details or photography pricing so you feel completely prepared.

Styling Consultation
Once you're booked, we'll set up a styling consultation (in-studio or virtual). Choose from flattering options in your own closet or from my client wardrobe for an effortless, stress-free experience. Then, I'll help coordinate looks for your family to ensure a beautiful and cohesive portrait gallery.

Hair & Makeup Services
Getting your hair and makeup done will make you feel beautiful and more confident on your session day. Upon request, I will make the scheduling arrangements for you, so you can enjoy being pampered on the day of your photography session!

The Session
All of the planning is done, and it’s time for a joy-filled and relaxed photography session with me! The time is yours to love on your family, snuggle up, play, and laugh…but most of all, be yourselves!

The Big Reveal
Approximately 1-2 weeks after your session, join me in-studio or on Zoom for your gallery reveal. You’ll enjoy seeing your gorgeous family photos for the first time, and I'll assist with artwork design and answer any questions you may have.

Delivery
Your custom portrait heirlooms are ready for you! Approximately 2-4 weeks after your gallery reveal appointment, I will arrange pick up or delivery for you.
