My in-studio newborn photography experience allows you to focus on the incredible love that bonds you and your baby, not the details of planning a portrait session. Time is fleeting enough when you’re parenting a newborn, which is why you can trust me to care for everything, from professional hair and makeup and wardrobe selections for mom and baby (up to 18 months), to meaningful ways to preserve your images in your home for generations.
From the ample natural light to the delicate, timeless props I provide for your baby, my home studio in Leesburg, Virginia, offers a truly relaxed and timeless portrait experience. All you need to do is simply arrive at the studio with your baby; I’ll care for everything else.

In-Home Newborn Session
Similar to my in-studio newborn sessions, you’re treated to a full-service experience in the comfort of your home when you book an in-home newborn session with me. An in-home session for newborn photos is ideal for you if you desire those first, fleeting moments with your newborn to be captured in the spaces that shape your family’s story, from your living room, master bedroom, and nursery to even your backyard.
In-home newborn clients love the option of including their fur babies in these DC newborn photography sessions. In addition, while most in-home photographers offer lifestyle photography only, I blend both posed and lifestyle newborn photography as I capture your first family portraits, as well as a variety of sweet, womb-like poses and breathtaking detail shots of your baby’s features, all in a setting that is uniquely yours.

Pre-Consultation
Getting to know each other is a huge part of what makes a great newborn session. It puts everyone at ease and sets us up for success! We will go over your goals for your session, wardrobe and location ideas to help design the perfect session for you. It’s also a great time for you to get all of your questions answered.
Once you're booked, we'll set up a styling consultation (in-studio or virtual). Choose from flattering options in your own closet or from my client wardrobe for an effortless, stress-free experience. Then, I'll help coordinate looks for your family to ensure a beautiful and cohesive gallery.

Getting your hair and makeup done for newborn photography will make you feel beautiful and more confident on your session day. I will make the scheduling arrangements for you, so you can enjoy being pampered on the day of your session!

The Session
All of the planning is done, and it’s time for a joy-filled and relaxed DC newborn session with me! The time is yours to love on your family, snuggle up, play, and laugh…but most of all, be yourselves!

The Big Reveal
Approximately 1-2 weeks after your session, join me in-studio or on Zoom for your gallery reveal. You’ll enjoy seeing your gorgeous newborn photos for the first time, and I'll assist with artwork design and answer any questions you may have.

Delivery
Your custom newborn portrait heirlooms are ready for you! Approximately 2-4 weeks after your gallery reveal appointment, I will arrange pick up or delivery for you.
