Winter baby photography session in Ashburn Virginia / Baby Audrey

Looking back to Audrey’s winter baby photography session that I captured in Ashburn, Virginia just yesterday brings me nothing but joy. This little girl makes winter look sooooo good especially since I’m not a huge fan of snow. As I am writing this blog post, I am literally wrapped in a blanket ❄️❄️. I have captured Audrey’s six month milestone session a year ago and couldn’t wait to get her in front of my lens. When I saw the red, nostalgic fire truck, there was no stopping me.

Seeing Audrey walk and talk, and yes, she talks a lot, is so surreal to me. It seems like yesterday when I captured her photos in her crib or in a small wooden box together with her furry brother, Chance. Maybe I’m having a hard time accepting that I’m getting older, too 😂 Audrey has such a sweet personality that makes you want to be her best friend. As soon as I walked into her home, she waved at me. When I left after the session, she gave me the biggest and cuddliest hug ever. This is why I love what I do.

  1. Not only is Stephanie a talented photographer, she is SO great with children. When working with young children, you have to be one step ahead of them… sometimes 5! Stephanie does just that. She comes prepared with toys and was all about having fun to keep our daughter happy and excited for the photos. She even suggested not putting her in the fire truck until we got to the photo site to ensure she stayed interested in staying inside the truck! 🙂 She is a mother herself so she just instinctively does theses things. Another thing I love about working with her is that she comes up with creative ideas but is always willing to get input from her clients. We’ve worked with her twice now and both times we loved the end product. She is patient and gives the kids breaks when they need it. HIGHLY recommend working with her!
