Front porch sweetness / Northern Virginia Newborn Photographer

Newborn

If this cozy front porch newborn session has caught your attention, chances are that you might be in the market for a Northern Virginia newborn photographer. In-home newborn sessions are still my favorites and these two ladies were worth the drive. If you are not quite sure whether an in-home session is for you, this blog post may guide you in the right direction.

The lighting in your home determines where I will take your newborn and family portraits. As a professional photographer, I tend to photograph in home sessions in a few select places. This is primarily in the master bedroom, living area, and the nursery. However, if you don’t have proper window placements that lead to high quality lighting, that can affect your images. I exclusively work with natural lighting and do not bring any added lighting with me. Sometimes, it’s your backyard or even your front porch that offers the most beautiful backdrop. If the weather permits, that is most certainly a great option for your newborn and family portraits. When I arrived at Leah’s house, the front porch and the egg chair immediately caught my attention.

Miss Kinsley is the happiest when she is in her mamas arms, so I kept my focus on capturing the special bond between them. I love documenting details. The size of baby’s tiny hands and toes, the pouty little lips. It’s my job to make sure those fleeting moments are never forgotten.
