Are you looking for the best prenatal massage Northern VA has to offer? Congratulations on your pregnancy and welcome to my blog. A prenatal massage is something that seems to frighten expecting mamas. It does sound a little…uncomfy. However, that’s actually the polar opposite of what I hear from the mamas I’ve photographed (and the research I’ve done)! So where do you get a prenatal massage? There are dozens of places in Northern VA that offer this service. I went ahead and did a little digging to find out which ones are the best!

Although this massage parlor isn’t in Northern VA, it is in Washington D.C., so it felt valid to include in this little run down! Georgetown Massage and Body Work is one of the leading massage parlors in the DC and Northern VA area. They offer world class massage services by certified massage therapists. Their goal is to make sure every client who comes in, leaves feeling better than when they arrived. That can be physically and/or mentally. They offer various massage services, but they are actually known for their prenatal massage service.

Their prenatal massages are 60, 75, and 90 minutes. Pending what you’re looking for, the receptionist can recommend a time frame for you. They also offer hot towels and aromatherapy for any mama who is interested!

Massage Hope: Top Recommendation from your Northern VA Newborn Photographer

Address: 19490 Sandridge Way #200, Leesburg, VA 20176

Phone: (703) 858-2323

Between the stress of figuring out how to babyproof and what to put on your baby registry, it’s no wonder moms feel their own kind of burn out! Massage Hope, located in Leesburg, VA, is one of the best places to help reduce that tension and stress!

Massage Hope offers multiple massage services including prenatal, therapeutic, sports, and cupping. However, their prenatal massage excels compared to other places. They place an emphasis on ensuring the comfort of the mamas they work with. Massages are done from the side-lying position, and you only have to turn to the other side once (no flip flopping around throughout the session!). Their session are 30, 60, or 90 minutes pending what you’re there for. For example, if you just need some time to yourself, a 30-minute session may be good for you. However, if you’re experiencing significant aches and pains that you want alleviated, you may do better with a 60 or a 90-minute massage!

Their therapists are highly trained and the ones who perform prenatal massage are specialty trained. You’re always in great hands (literally!) here!

Rejuvenations Massage Therapy

Address: 1250 Roger Bacon Dr #5, Reston, VA 20190

Phone: (703) 437-9059

The third and final prenatal massage office in Northern VA is Rejuvenations Massage Therapy. This is my final recommendation and trust me I saved the best for last! Rejuvenations Massage Therapy, as their name promotes, focuses their practice on helping you feel rejuvenated. They want you to feel like you…but…the 2.0 version. You, but with an upgrade, you know? When you’re pregnant, it’s common to feel run down, worn out, over worked, etc. This massage parlor is where you go to change that!

They offer five kinds of massage therapy. However, their prenatal massage is ideal for the pregnant mamas, of course. Their therapists perform the massage with you in three positions (2 sides, and briefly on your back if you’re comfortable with it). Their prenatal massages are 90 minutes, which may seem long but it’s actually with good reason. They want to ensure you leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and ready to take on the day.  If you are experiencing significant back or leg pain, or even sciatica, you want the longer session. Give them time to help! They’re ready and practically guarantee a happier, healthier you!
