You’ll have access to my collection of maternity gowns, so there’s no need to hunt for something special that you’ll only wear once. If you have a favorite dress of your own, we can absolutely style from your closet as well.
Once you’re booked, we’ll set up a styling consultation in the studio or virtually. We’ll choose your looks together and coordinate outfits for your partner and little ones so your whole gallery feels cohesive.

Professional Hair and Makeup for Maternity Photos in Northern Virginia
Feeling like yourself makes such a difference in your photos, and that’s why complimentary professional hair and makeup is included with my Signature Session whenever you’d like it. I take care of the scheduling for you, so all you have to do is sit back and enjoy being pampered before your studio maternity session.
What to Expect at Your Leesburg Studio Maternity Session
Every maternity session begins with a pre-consultation where we get to know each other and go over your goals, wardrobe ideas, and any questions about pricing.
After you book, we’ll plan your looks during your styling consultation, and I’ll arrange hair and makeup.
On session day, the planning is done and you get to simply enjoy the experience. Your partner and children are welcome to join, and I’ll guide you into natural, flattering poses throughout a relaxed, full-length session.
About one to two weeks later, we’ll meet in the studio or on Zoom for your gallery reveal, where you’ll see your maternity portraits for the first time and I’ll help you design any prints, albums, or wall art.
Your custom heirlooms are ready about two to four weeks after that, and I’ll arrange pickup or delivery for you!
When to Schedule Studio Maternity Photos in Northern Virginia
I usually recommend scheduling your maternity session around 30 to 32 weeks.
Your bump is beautifully round at that point and you’re still fairly comfortable. If you’re expecting twins or more, aim for about 20 to 24 weeks, and if you’re planning a pregnancy announcement, we can photograph anytime after 12 weeks. To get the week you want, I’d suggest reaching out early in your pregnancy so we can save your date.

Studio Maternity Photography Pricing in Northern Virginia
My Signature Session is my full-service experience, with a $350 session fee that covers personalized planning, the client wardrobe, a relaxed full-length session, complimentary hair and makeup when desired, and custom artwork design. Artwork and digital images are purchased separately, and most of my clients invest $1,800 or more in their final collection.
If you’d prefer a digital gallery at one all-inclusive price, the Simplicity Session is $1,200 and includes planning, wardrobe access, a guided full-length session, hand editing, and all of your final digital images.
If you’re planning newborn photos too, take a look at the First Year Collective, my most popular option! It bundles three or four Signature Sessions within a 12-month period, starting with your maternity photos and continuing with your newborn session, 6 month session, and first birthday.
Three sessions have a $900 session fee and four sessions have a $1,200 session fee, and members receive priority booking, complimentary hair and makeup when desired, a $200 album incentive at each ordering appointment, and a complimentary smash cake for your baby’s first birthday.
